Kage Baker, award winning Science Fiction author, teacher, and friend, past away this morning after losing a short but mighty battle with cancer. She slipped away this morning at 1:15, surrounded by friends and loved ones, after a day filled with laughter. Rest in peace and keep watch over us until we meet again.

Re: Rest in peace Kage Baker, from the Green Man Inn
Sun, January 31, 2010 - 5:06 PMMy heart is heavy for what has been that is no more. This is a time to grieve.
Yet love is light, endures, has been, and is to be again. This is a time to celebrate.
My thoughts are with them both; one on this side, and one now on the other.

Sun, January 31, 2010 - 5:27 PMKage was one of those folks at fair(e) , that gave and gave , and never seemed to count the cost. I never read her works. I just remember her as being a nice person , and nice goes along way in this wicked world ! R.I.P. Kage , you are not forgotten by those who's life paths you crossed! -

Re: Rest in peace Kage Baker, from the Green Man Inn
Mon, February 1, 2010 - 9:00 AMKage will be remembered every time I recite the 23rd Psalm; she was my dialect coach (as she was to many), and a good neighbor to the Rose & Stag at RPFN.
RIP.
